Marina Smir Kabila M'diq Cabo Negro Martil
There are miles and miles of un-spoilt beaches in the Tamuda bay area. Some are the semi-private reserves of developments but most can be enjoyed by all. Here are some of the best:
Marina Smir
At the end of Marina Smir is a very popular beach and very much the place to be seen in summer. As the beach is directly in front of the Hotel Barcelo beachgoers can take advantage of the beach bar which transforms in an supercool place to carry on relaxing into the night. Probably the best beach for a real international flavor.
M’Diq
In front of the town of M’Diq is a beach with many facilities that is very popular with the locals. A great advantage are the many places to get food and drinks at reasonable prices due to the beaches proximity to the town and the local fishing port.
Martil
Martil has a 4km long promenade in front of its great beach. This is not the place to get away from it all in summer, as it is an incredibly popular resort. This means that there are plenty of activities, including beach football and volleyball and places to eat. But do not worry as there is plenty of beach to go around.
Kabila
At a first glance Kabila is a private development with its own beach. However there are public accesses to the beach and the beach bar and restaurant that is open well into the night. Kabila has long been a favourite amongst the Moroccan elite, being so close to the King’s own beach home. Making this a great place to see and to be seen.
Cabo Negro
A long wide stretch of beach with very few nearby developments gives this beach a great unspoilt feel. Being home to one of the two Club Med holiday resorts in the area means that here you can join in the activities including a wide range of watersports.
