Things To do . . .
Ceuta Tetuan Medina Local Activities Day Trips
The Mediterranean coast of Morocco provides a fantastic place to relax and take holidays, but it is not just about the beach, there is a whole other world to explore
close-by:
Ceuta

The Spanish enclave of Ceuta is a ten minute drive from Tamuda Bay. Crossing the border is relatively easy on foot or by car (there is always a willing guide at hand, for a couple of Euros). Ceuta offers a true step into history as well as a quick stop of in Europe for those who need it – high street shops, restaurants and nightlife as well as all facilities are all as you would expect to find on the Spanish mainland. A great place for a historical tour, a tax free shopping trip or a night out.
Local Activities

Apart from the two Club med resorts in the area there are plenty of other activities for the more active holiday makers. Horse riding can be organized in the mountains or even on the beach at the hacienda style “La Ferma” in Cabo Negro. For golfers the “Royal Golf Cabo Negro” presents a real challenge, with nine holes woodland and nine holes of great links golf.

Tetuan Medina

The Medina at Tétouan is a UNESCO world heritage site and offers a true glimpse of the past. It is easy to imagine yourself transported back in time in the narrow bustling streets. Taking a guide is recommended to make sure that you uncover some real hidden gems and find that bargain momento.
Day Trips

For those with a car or wanting to take an organized day trip the villages of Chefchouen in the mountains or Asillah by the sea present spectacular days out. Chefchpouen is a beautiful hill village offering great cuisine and artisan objet amongst spellbinding scenery. The heavily Spanish influenced fishing village of Asillah offers a small but spectacular Medina which is home to many local artists
